"Equal justice under the law,” this is a pledge and a promise. This is the motto of the Supreme Court of the United States and it represents the ultimate responsibility of our system of justice. We have never been perfect as a nation, but we often strive to be better. Now is a time to re-examine our course and make the effort to live everyday according to the aspiration of our ideals.
